DAN BURT MONUMENT DEDICATION

MAY 31,2008 BLAIR, WI.

Family and friends gathered on a sunny spring Saturday to dedicate a monument in the memory of Dan Burt.  The monument is located at the intersection of Highways 95 & 53 next to a Trempealeau County GPS monument.  It will be a reminder to all surveyors who occupy the station that other surveyors have gone before them and left their mark on the land. Surveyors from the WSLS Western Chapter helped make the monument happen.
