The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Department of Mathematics is selling their collection of Surveying equipment that we used to use to teach our Surveying course. There are 154 items involved in the sale. We are selling this equipment as one large group. SURVEY TECHNICIAN

CWE, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Survey Crew Chief/technician in our Weston, WI office. Responsibilities include report writing, overseeing field survey crews on a variety of field surveys, reducing field notes, drafting surveys, and courthouse research. Wood County is seeking proposals for PLSS Section Corner Perpetuation and Maintenance.

Perform a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with Land Surveying &
Civil Engineering. Duties will include:
  • Consulting with clients

Land Survey Technician

We are seeking a land survey technician for our Wausau office. Position requirements include: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Land Survey, Civil Engineering or related field, previous survey experience, background in modern survey methods including use of total stations, data collectors and GPS. Survey field work is primarily focused on transportation projects and includes topographic surveys, right-of-way surveys, highway design surveys, construction layout and boundary surveys. Office work includes point and data management, calculations and the preparation of Transportation Project Plats, Traditional Right-of-way Plats, Plat of Surveys and Certified Survey Maps. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Occasional overnight travel is required.

Entry Level Survey Technician Mi‐Tech Services, a subsidiary of Michels Corporation, currently has an opportunity for an Entry Level Survey Technician for the Southeastern Wisconsin area. Position assists senior personnel with survey tasks on assigned projects including surveying, construction staking, staking easements, and right of way acquisitions. A basic understanding of survey concepts and equipment is required. Position also requires travel throughout the United States.

Leica Liscad Land Surveying Software

Wisconsin Leica Liscad User has a 2nd license of Liscad software currently not being used for land surveying computations and CAD mapping.  Modules include field transfer, computations, data transfer, CAD output and Liscad CAD.  Version 8.0.2.    This software can be upgraded to current version 9.0, if necessary directly from Listech.
