Nielsen Madsen & Barber, a long-established civil engineering and land surveying firm located in southeast Wisconsin, has an immediate opening for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor. Our Company has over 69 years of experience.
Due to our strong relationships with our current client base, Nielsen Madsen + Barber is growing and looking to fill several new positions in all departments including an Experienced Professional Land Surveyor.
The candidate selected for this position will enjoy working at a professional firm with a casual work environment. The candidate will also have the opportunity to utilize their surveying and organizational skills to complete a variety of land surveying projects.
The successful candidate must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in land surveying, three (3) - five (5) years of experience and have a Wisconsin PLS License.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience with boundary surveys, topographic surveys and construction staking + layout.
- Knowledge of legal descriptions.
- Experience with AutoCAD and / or Civil 3D.
- Experience with GPS and robotic total station operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Self-motivation.
- Excellent written, verbal, mathematical and organizational skills.
Wages are dependent on experience.
