Description
Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) has an exciting opportunity for an emerging professional that will assist in providing survey services for the District on capital and operations & maintenance (O&M) projects in the planning, design and construction phases. You will also support requests for CAD drawing retrieval, Onbase document maintenance, and CAD solutions or services. Furthermore, the intern will supplement and support Survey and CAD staff while maintaining high level customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
You will work with the survey crews on a variety of projects and will utilize geodetic and cadastral methods to provide/collect data to/from project stakeholders. Furthermore, the intern will work with a team of professionals in Survey, CAD, Engineering, and GIS to contribute to District projects.
Qualifications
The intern should be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or land surveying, or an associate degree in civil engineering technology or related field. The successful candidate must have completed a CAD course and be familiar with AutoCAD or CAD- related software. Valid driver's license required
Supplemental Information
This 12-week summer internship is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
